💼 Job Description

Cisco's Wireless Feature System Engineering team works on end-to-end wireless capabilities across access points, controllers, and cloud-managed platforms.

As a Full-Stack Wireless Software Engineer, you will contribute to wireless features across multiple layers of the technology stack, from implementation to testing, validation, and automation.

🚀 Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate wireless features across AP, controller, and management layers
• Write and maintain software using C/C++ and Python
• Design and execute test plans
• Develop automation for feature validation
• Analyze logs, packet traces, and system behavior
• Debug and reproduce software issues
• Validate fixes across different system components
• Set up and work with lab environments for wireless testing
• Collaborate with platform, radio, QA, and cloud teams

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have:

• BS + 1–3 years of experience OR MS + 0–2 years of experience
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python
• Understanding of networking fundamentals
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi / 802.11 basics
• Experience or strong interest in testing, automation, and system validation
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
