🚨 NXP Women in Tech 2026 is now open for registrations!

NXP India has launched its Women in Tech (WIT) 2026 program, a year-long technical training program designed for women engineering students in India.

The program will select Top 75 women engineering students and provide specialized training in semiconductor design, along with a ₹50,000 scholarship, certificate, industry mentorship, and potential internship and job opportunities at NXP.

💰 What Does the Program Offer?

Selected participants will receive:

  • 💰 ₹50,000 scholarship

  • 🎓 Certificate after successful completion

  • 💻 Year-long specialized technical training

  • 👩‍💻 Online classes by technical experts

  • 🤝 Networking with silicon technology mentors

  • 🚀 Preference for internship opportunities for top-performing students

  • 💼 Potential job opportunities at NXP for top performers

The program spans 52 weeks and includes practical learning, projects, quizzes and hands-on exposure using an NXP FRDM development board.

📚 Course Curriculum

The curriculum covers several important semiconductor and technology topics, including:

  • SoC Architecture

  • Digital Design

  • Analog Design

  • RISC-V & ARM

  • Design Flow

  • Verification

  • Emulation

  • DFT – Scan, JTAG & BIST

  • Synthesis & Timing Constraints

  • Placement, Routing & CTS

  • Validation

  • C & OOPs

  • Verilog & SystemVerilog

  • Embedded Software

  • Python Scripting

  • Mini & Major Projects

Programming knowledge is not mandatory, although prior programming knowledge can be an advantage.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

The program is open to women engineering students currently pursuing their 3rd semester of:

  • B.E.

  • B.Tech.

  • Dual Degree (B.E./B.Tech. + M.E./M.Tech.)

Students must be studying at a UGC/AICTE-approved college or university in India.

For the 2026 program:

B.E./B.Tech.: Academic Year 2025–2029

Dual Degree: Academic Year 2025–2030

Students from Computer Science, Electronics and other related engineering branches can apply.

The program also provides participants with an opportunity to connect with silicon technology mentors.

According to NXP, top-performing students may receive preference for internships in their final year and job opportunities at NXP.

This makes the program particularly interesting for students looking to build a career in semiconductors, VLSI, embedded systems, hardware design, verification and related technology domains.
