Job Description
The selected candidate will work under the guidance of experienced engineers and support day-to-day activities related to data engineering pipelines and applications.
Responsibilities
Monitor scheduled data pipeline runs, job status, alerts, file arrivals, and data refresh activities.
Perform first-level checks for failed jobs, missing files, incomplete data loads, and data mismatches.
Create, update, and track incidents, service requests, tasks, and change requests in ServiceNow.
Run basic SQL queries and perform data validation.
Support source-to-target reconciliation and validate job outputs.
Collect logs, screenshots, error messages, and other supporting information before escalating complex issues.
Support production monitoring and operational reporting.
Prepare and maintain documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and operational checklists.
Assist with daily status updates and knowledge-transfer activities.
